Feeling a little better...

It has been such a long week and I feel like a horrible slacker. I have barely written anything in the last week. But in my defense, I have been horribly sick and I have been working constantly. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things though, thankfully.

Uggghhhh...

Been fighting off a cold now for the last couple of days. Luckily, I've had the last four days off from work. Well...from my day job at least. :D Been getting some writing done and working on some new characters that are going to show up in this volume. Really great stuff, I think!

International!

I have amazing news! Upon Waking has officially sold its first couple of sales in the UK! We've gone international. Kristina and I are so excited about this new aspect of the already incredible journey we are on! Now, if only we can get more readers!

The end of a stretch!

Very excited for.the end of this work day. I feel as though I have been stuck at work forever.  Nine days straight is enough to drive anyone crazy! After this I have five glorious days off and I plan to get plenty written in those 5 days!

Working the midnight oil...

Well, it isn't quite midnight yet but the it still works to get the point across. Worked quite a bit today on book # 2, which still remains untitled. Not even a working title in sight...*sigh*. But oh well. :) That will come later. Still working on getting the word out there about Upon Waking. Things are looking up!

A light at the end of this very long tunnel...

Getting ready to add a few final touches. I thought I might mention that this is in fact a novella and not a full length novel. It is the first part of a series that I hope to publish in one full length feature at a later date. (Sort of in the style of L.J. Smith.) I might be reiterating, but no, this is not my first book that I have ever finished writing. I might also add that the first is quite a bit longer and, perhaps, even a bit better written. However, since that story was written with a co-author, that I have since had a falling out with, I've never quite felt right about publishing it.

So sad, but true.

Perhaps, someday, she and I may have a reconciliation and finish said project and publish it. But, at the moment, I doubt it.

Now, on to happier things! My Editor and I are working on the last few steps towards publication and we are hoping that everything should be ready by weeks end. Keep your fingers crossed! Now, while I wait for her to contact me, I think I will go and work on Book #2!

My first official post! I am so excited to get this site and all of the others up and running. Trying to get these pages ready and running while finishing up the editing and revising of Upon Waking is a lot more work than I originally thought that it would be. :) The plan is to get it all finished and published by Sunday.
